Step 1: Download and install Windows password reset, then launch the program and enter the ISO image file path (when launch the software, you will see the ISO image file has automatically entered. Please leave it as the default)
Step2. Choose a device to burn the ISO image file: a CD/DVD (USB Flash drive)
Select the CD/DVD as the boot method and insert the blank CD/DVD into the optical drive.
Step3. Click Burn and then start to burn the ISO image file
In this step, when the burning completes, click OK and the CD/DVD will eject itself.
Step4. Boot your locked computer from CD/DVD and remove the forgot windows password
1). Insert the created CD/DVD into the optical drive of the locked computer and reboot it. After that, you should pay attention to these two conditions:
Condition 1: When the CD/DVD boots, you'll see Windows password reset initializing (see screenshot below). Then please continue to the next step.
Condition 2: When the computer still boots from Windows, it's necessary for you to change your computer's Setup to make it boot from CD/DVD. Here is the tutorial of BIOS Settings for CD/DVD:
1. Reboot your computer, and during the booting, press F2 or Delete or F10 to enter your BIOS Setup.
2. On the Advanced or Boot Tab, set the boot priority. Make sure the CDROM Drives is before Hard Disk Drives.
3. Press F10 and Y followed by Enter to save the new BIOS settings and reboot your computer.
